Housed in original Hull-House buildings at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the museum interprets the work of social welfare pioneer Jane Addams and her settlement house associates. Through paintings, photographs and artifacts as well as a slide show and captioned video, visitors can explore the history of the settlement. The museum also presents frequent cultural and educational events in its Residents' Dining Hall. "History on Call" audio clips are now available by cell phone and online.
